Resumed the appeals trial of defendants involved in wrongdoings at DAB
On May 27th, 2019, High People’s Court in Ho Chi Minh City resumed the appeals trial to handle the case "Mr. Tran Phuong Binh and the accomplices" that were prosecuted for “abusing powers or positions for appropriation of property”, “deliberately acting against the State’s regulations on economic management, causing serious consequences” and “negligence that results in serious consequences” at DongA Joint Stock Commercial Bank (“DAB”).
Up to the present, the appellate trial has entered into the stage of oral argument.
Regarding to this case, Lawyer Le Nguyen The Hung - Chairman of Vega Law Firm and Lawyer Le Ngo Trung - Senior lawyer of Vega Law Firm, have engaged in legal proceedings as protectors of legitimate rights and benefits for DAB (civil plaintiff).
The appeals trial is scheduled to last until June 7th, 2019.
