OFFICIALLY TAUGHT ONLINE DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE
The Ministry of Education and Training promulgates Circular 09/2021/TT-BGDDT regulating the management and organization of online teaching in general education institutions and continuing education institutions.
Specifically, online teaching activities, as stipulated in the Circular of the Ministry of Education and Training, are carried out according to the lessons or topics under the General Education Program (GDPT), ensuring the interaction between teachers and students born in the process of teaching.
The head of the general education institution shall decide on the form of organization of online teaching in support of face-to-face teaching at the general education institution; organize online teaching to replace face-to-face teaching at general education institutions during the time when students do not go to school to study due to force majeure reasons.
Students learning online do the following key activities:
- Attend online lessons organized by teachers;
- Carry out learning activities and test and evaluate at the request of teachers;
- Exploiting learning content from online teaching materials;
- Ask and answer questions to the teacher and other students.
Online teachers perform the following main activities:
- Organize online lessons to give lectures and guide students to study;
- Assign learning tasks and test and evaluate students' learning results;
- Monitor and support students to exploit learning content from online teaching materials;
- Counseling, support, answering questions and answering questions of students.
Regular testing and evaluation of students' online learning results is carried out during the teaching process. Forms of regular examination and evaluation in online teaching shall comply with regulations on regular examination and evaluation of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Periodic examination and evaluation of students' online learning results are carried out directly at general education institutions in accordance with regulations on periodic testing and evaluation of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In case a student cannot go to a general education institution at the time of periodical examination and assessment due to force majeure, the organization of periodical examination and evaluation shall be carried out online; The head of the general education institution shall decide on the selection of a form of periodical examination and evaluation in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring that the examination and evaluation are accurate, fair and objective, honest.
Circular 09/2021/TT-BGDDT takes effect from May 16, 2021.
